On the rural hospital front, I live year round in the Hamptons, Stoney Brook Southampton is considered rural and the only hospital within 40 miles. They and their affiliated practices are in negotiations with United Healthcare. UHC includes Medicaid as well as other plans. They’ve extended the negotiations until July 7th. 🤞
